Duke University Press, internationally recognized as a prominent publisher of scholarly books,journals and electronic collections, publishes mainly in humanities and social sciences. 40 Journals, 120 books per year and five electronic collections.
Two options are available to libraries, both hosted by Highwire Press at www.dukejournals.org :
- The Expanded Collection provides online access to 43 Duke University Press humanities and social sciences journals;
- The Standard Collection includes 37 titles.
Perpetual access to the journals collections: Current subscribers receive access to all back content for each included title. Duke University Press has retro-digitized back issues of many of the included journals. Subscribers retain perpetual access only to the years during which a subscription was paid. Back content is available to current subscribers but is not retained in perpetuity.
Euclid Prime is a collection of high-impact, peer-reviewed journals in theoretical and applied mathematics and statistics hosted by Project Euclid. As above, subscribers retain perpetual access to the years during which a subscription was paid.
The e-Duke Books Scholarly Collection is hosted on the HighWire platform and is cross searchable with the Duke e-journals content. In the years in which customers purchase the collection they will also receive access to over 1,500 backlist titles. Enhanced MARC records created by cataloguers at Duke University Libraries are available at no additional charge.
